Edit a guest's details? That starts with searching and finding the guest in question. We explain how to do that in this tutorial. You can then change the data (tags and attributes) and establish guest relationships. If products have been configured for your event, you can also manually create orders and process payments from the guest detail overview. For more information, see the Orders and payments tutorial.

Add a guest relation
Bulk actions (multiple guests)

Click on Guests in the left bar under GUESTS . You will see an overview of the guests present in Puerto for your event.
¡Muy importante! Always check whether any previous searches or created filters are active in the blue highlighted section. Remove these with one of the crosses (per filter or all filters at once).
In the default setting you search within all attributes of a guest. Attributes are the characteristics of your guests, such as name and address details and email address. You activate the search by adding the filter or by confirming your search with enter. The results contain your search criterion. If you look for a nest, you will find Ernesto.
In the following example, you search for Ernesto di Invitado among more than 111,000 guests based on the search value Ernesto:
Are you getting (too) many search results? Then you can:
a. try again with another, more distinctive search query (for example search for di Invitado)
b. limit the number of results with a second, additional search (e.g. Mexico)
c. Sort the results ascending or descending using the arrows above the columns:
By clicking on the search result or on the pencil behind it, you open the guest detail page. There you will find all the details of the specific guest, spread over different tabs:
In the DETAILS tab you will find all the guest's personal data. You cannot change the technical data (right), but you can change the attributes of a guest (left). At the bottom right you can also adjust the tags assigned to the guest, if necessary. Always save your changes with Save.
In the following example, we change the function of guest Ernesto di Invitado and change his tags:
If you want to add a new guest, you can do this by clicking on the + button at the top right of the Overview. Fill in all required, necessary and desired details, and provide the guest with the correct tags. If you have added an email address, you can immediately email the new guest from Puerto (see below).
In the COMMUNICATION tab you can see which emails have been sent to the guest. You can view the status of the shipment, and even check whether the guest opened the message and clicked on a link within it.
If you want to send an email manually or again to a guest, do so with the black plus button at the top right.
In the following example we send the Test email again to the specific guest:
Under E-tickets you will see an overview of the e-tickets linked to the guest. You can manually link a new ticket to the guest with the black plus button on the left.
If guest relations have been defined for your event, you can manually link two guests together. You do this from the RELATIONS tab on the guest detail page of one guest. You click on the black plus button, choose the type of relationship and then add the second guest from the Overview page.
In the following example, we add Ernesto di Invitado as a subguest to main booker Julio:
On the HISTORY tab you will see all changes made regarding the guest. For each change you can see when the change was made and by whom.
Please note: bulk actions cannot simply be undone. So only use this if you know what you are doing. If in doubt, always consult your contact person at Invitado!
Once you have identified a specific group of guests with filters, you can select the visible guests with the first checkbox above the search results. The gray buttons for bulk actions, at the top right of the Overview window, will then turn purple. Contains the overview more pages, a second checkbox appears. With this additional checkbox, you can select all filtered guests.
If products can be ordered for your event and may need to be paid for, you can make manual changes for an individual guest via the ORDERS tab that is visible in that case . What this looks like and what you can do yourself depends entirely on the design of your event. For more information about your specific situation, you can always contact Invitado's registration specialist. In the Orders and payments tutorial we explain the most commonly used functionalities.
